Alastair and his wife, Chris moved to Creeting St Mary over thirty years ago with their two boys then aged 2 years and six months respectively. A daughter was later added to the family and all three attended Creeting St Mary School. They left the school long ago and now all have university degrees. Alastair has stayed on at the school as a governor and has seen many changes both in the school and the education in general.
Alastair says, "Being a school governor is an interesting and, at times, a challenging experience. I just hope that, as a governor, I am able to contribute in some way to helping the school to continue to provide the excellent start in life that my children enjoyed when they were there."
