Senior Teacher at Otley Primary School

I was born in Ipswich and lived locally until moving away to university in Leeds. On completion of my Sports Development and PE degree, I moved to York to complete my PGCE. I graduated in 2010 and returned to Suffolk to begin my teaching career at Otley Primary School. I have been teaching at Otley for the last eight years. During this time I have taught a variety of year groups (2-6) and have taken on a number of different roles; PE coordinator, ICT coordinator, English coordinator and website designer/maintainer. I have also mentored a student during her PGCE training and in 2017 began mentoring an NQT during her first year of teaching which I have thoroughly enjoyed. Throughout the last eight years my skills and knowledge have developed immensely and I have enjoyed working with a range of children, parents, governors and staff. I feel privileged to work at such a fantastic school.
